There are moments in life when words fall short — when grief is too deep, and love too vast to ever be contained. For the family of Little Skylan Ann Sellars, those moments have come far too soon.
At just a few years old, Skylan’s world was filled with laughter, songs, and the innocent wonder that only a child can bring. But her journey took a painful turn when doctors discovered she was battling medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer that no child should ever have to face.

For two months, Skylan fought with the courage of a warrior. Every hospital visit, every night of pain, she faced it all with a bravery that left even the doctors speechless. Her tiny hands held immeasurable strength; her bright eyes shone with a spirit that refused to be dimmed.
Her mother recalls, “She had a fire in her like no other. Even on her hardest days, she smiled. She made us believe that love was stronger than fear.”
The Sellars family remembers the way Skylan’s laughter would fill their home — how her giggles could chase away the shadows of even the darkest nights. She loved coloring, dancing in her favorite pink pajamas, and wrapping her little arms around her mom’s neck as if to remind her that everything would be okay.
When she passed away, the world seemed to lose a little bit of its light. But in truth, that light still shines — in every memory, every tear, every act of kindness done in her name.
Her story is not just one of pain, but of unimaginable love, courage, and hope. Through her short time on earth, Skylan reminded everyone that even the smallest souls can leave the biggest mark.
Rest peacefully, sweet angel.
